Tea shaped by altitude

Not all tea tastes the same.

The character of tea begins long before it reaches the cup — in the soil, the climate, the altitude and the way each leaf is cultivated and crafted.

At Curling Tea, our teas begin in our own gardens in the high mountains of Nepal, at approximately 6,300 to 6,800 feet above sea level.

The cool mountain climate and slower growth give the leaves time to develop their distinctive character. From these leaves, we create three different expressions of the mountain: Black Tea, Oolong Tea and White Tea.

Each has its own personality. All share the character of their origin.

Black Tea

Deep. Refined. Distinctive.

Our black tea reveals the deeper character of the Himalayan landscape.

Carefully crafted from leaves grown at high altitude, it offers a refined balance of aroma, depth and natural sweetness. The slower growth of the tea plants contributes to a distinctive character that is both elegant and satisfying.

A tea for those who appreciate depth without losing delicacy.

Origin: Nepal
Elevation: approximately 6,300–6,800 ft
Style: Orthodox black tea

Oolong Tea

Elegant. Complex. Naturally expressive.

Oolong occupies a beautiful place between black and green tea.

Our high-altitude Nepalese oolong is carefully crafted to preserve the character of the leaf while allowing its natural complexity to unfold. The result is an elegant tea with layers of aroma and flavour that reveal themselves gradually with each infusion.

A tea to slow down for.

Origin: Nepal
Elevation: approximately 6,300–6,800 ft
Style: Orthodox oolong tea

White Tea

Delicate. Pure. Subtle.

White tea is an expression of simplicity.

Made from carefully selected leaves and buds, our white tea is minimally processed to preserve the natural character of the leaf. Grown high in the mountains of Nepal, it offers a delicate and refined experience with a gentle aroma and subtle flavour.

Nothing unnecessary. Just the leaf, the mountain and time.

Origin: Nepal
Elevation: approximately 6,300–6,800 ft
Style: Orthodox white tea

Three teas. One origin.

Black, Oolong and White may express the tea leaf in different ways, but they share the same beginning.

Our own gardens.
Our own factory.
The mountains of Nepal.

From 6,300–6,800 feet to Copenhagen and beyond.

Naturally grown. Carefully crafted. Proudly Nepalese.
