The feelings of producing tea thousands of miles away in the Himalaya; bringing it here at your door, thousands of miles away where people have only heard or seen Himalayas in tv or phones, and giving them the tea, is an immense peace and happiness.

Sending back the money to the innocent people who have used their body and soul to make the tea so vital and holy, who in turn use the money to take care of their family, is so profoundly satisfying. You are a part in this profound satisfaction to make it happen and then experience it in return.

So, when you think of drinking the tea you receive from this shop, then know that very deep inside of you, inside your sub-conscious mind, some inner voice is calling you for meditation. So, be alert. Because you are invited for a journey of peace and happiness that will start healing you from inside out. It’s a especial feeling you are going to experience every time you think of drinking tea from the Himalayas. But you should be alert in the whole process.

Be alert and know that you are stepping in your kitchen to make the tea that came in your house from the Himalaya. Be alert when you set the water to boil and wait. Then you slowly take the tea packet on your hand. Generate the feelings and know that you are holding the tea that was produced thousands of miles away from you. Read what is written in the packet and look at the logo.

As you open the packet be alert and know that you are opening the treasure that is so holy and pure that it is going to cleanse you from inside out. A moment later the whole Himalaya will run through your body. The essence of it will reach your mind reboot it by regenerating its state. Then it will initiate the cleansing of your mind and body. In this process your soul becomes the witness.

When you have opened the packet, take your nose close to the opening of the packet and smell it. All of a sudden, without your knowing, your soul stretches up to the Himalayas, where the tea came from. Then your soul touches other souls whose hands and mind were involved in making the tea that is inside the packet you are holding: You just know that you are connected with other souls who are dwelling in the Himalayas. In other words, your soul has stretched and you have grown bigger. It is like when you travel, you increase your life. It means you stretch your soul to different places you travel. There are many ways to make yourself bigger by stretching your soul.

Then take about 2 grams of tea and drop it inside your cup. Now know that you have moved something big inside your kitchen, with just few of your fingers: part of the Himalaya was dropped inside your cup.  The Himalaya has moved in your kitchen so has something moved inside you, but you are not aware of that yet. You just know that for now. One day, the time will come when you will realize yourself the movement of the Himalaya inside you every time you drop some tea inside your favorite cup. You just have to make a routine of drinking the tea from the Himalaya. It carries all the memories of the area from many centuries. Countless sages have been enlightened, and many beautiful angels from the heaven have come down in the Himalayan area to dance around the sages, just to break the meditations of those sages. The tea in your hand has carried such memories from times long before you were born. The energy that was emitted every time a sage attained enlightenment is embedded inside those tea leaves as a memory. So, the energy will help you in your meditation.

The water must be boiling now. Now you are going to bring two big energies together. When you pour the hot water in the cup, a part of the ocean has entered in your cup. The water from the ocean has washed down the Himalaya and immersed it finally, inside your cup. Countless lives from inside and outside the tea is immersed in this ocean water. Those lives will run inside your body and mind.

About Hamsa Tea Copenhagen.

Hamsa is a word as ancient as the human being. The word Hamsa comes from Sanskrit language which was the language of gods and goddess around the Himalayas. Hamsa means the Swan. Swans were the vehicle used by goddess to move from one place to another during the time of gods and goddesses in this earth. In other words, swans move from one place to another carrying grace and purity, cleansing the sinned and impure spot in this world. The spot could be deep down in your heart. There is a belief that, if you mix milk and water and give to a swan, then she can separate milk from the water. She can either drink only the water and leave the milk behind or drink the milk and leave the water behind. It means she can separate pure from impure, good from bad, and virtue from sin.

Our tea that come from the Himalaya is pure and natural. It is grown just on the lap of white Himalayas where the swans dwelled in the ancient time making it so pure that even today the sun rises up every morning to kiss its tea bushes, nourishing the tender leaves with its morning rays. So, one day I thought about asking the swan to separate any impurities from our tea bushes. Then I walked everywhere near the Himalayas looking for the swans. I became tired and lay down on the highest point of our tea garden. I closed my eyes and wanted fall asleep. Then I saw a dream.

In the dream I was on a bank of a big blue lake sitting under a huge green tree. It was a sunny day and the lake had turned blue filled with countless white swans. The gentle wind was blowing right into my face. I got mesmerized by the whole scene. A moment had passed then a white swan appeared before me.

She looked in my eyes and I felt she said, “In my name, take the tea from the Himalaya where I dwell, and give it to the people at different corners of the world. They should benefit from it.’’ There was a moment of pause and I felt again she said, “It will be your service to the human being.”  She disappeared and I woke up from the dream.

Now I cannot go back to sleep because of the dream. I have embarked the journey of giving service to the human being of providing them not just tea but tea from the Himalaya. So, I chose the name Hamsa Tea.

We are a small tea grower in the Ilam district of Nepal where we make small batch of specialty tea in a year. Tea bushes are about 25-30 years old. We have set up a small tea processing and have begun to produce tea from 2026. The tea garden is located at an altitude of above 2000 meter from where the white snowy mountains can be seen at a distance when the sky is clear. We make tea from the tea plant called camellia sinensis.

The high altitude of the tea garden provides conditions creating unique local climate. Due to which the quality of tea leaves is different from those grown in low altitude. has the distinct character that gives unique flavor and aroma to our tea. The tea bushes are showered by the first morning sunlight nourishing the leaves with tender sun rays.

Local people who take part in crafting the artisan tea have lived in the area from many generations in harmony with the unique nature and climate.
