About Curling Tea

There are places where tea is grown.And then there are places where tea is shaped by the mountains.

At Curling Tea, we bring the rare character of high-altitude Nepalese tea to Europe from the mountains of Nepal to the heart of Copenhagen. Our connection to the land  goes  beyond sourcing. We own our tea garden and factory in Nepal, allowing us to remain intimately involved in the journey from leaf to cup. Every stage is approached with care, preserving the integrity and individuality of the tea while honouring the place and the people from which it comes. We care deeply about the journey every leaf takes.

Where the mountains shape the tea 

At Curling Tea, we believe exceptional tea begins with exceptional origins. Our tea begins in our own gardens, cultivated at elevations of approximately 6,300 to 6,800 feet above sea level.Here, the cool mountain climate, pristine surroundings and slower growth create the conditions for tea of remarkable character — delicate in aroma, refined in flavour and naturally distinctive. 

From growing and producing the tea in Nepal to bringing it to Europe, our mission is simple: To share authentic, high-quality Nepalese tea with people who appreciate great taste and care about what they drink. And we want the value created by the tea to return to its origin — supporting the land, the people and the community that make it possible. We want every cup to offer not only a beautiful taste, but also a connection to the mountains of Nepal.
